Frequently Asked Questions

How can alternative suppliers provide the same utilities at lower cost?
Alternative suppliers are far leaner organisations, with lower overheads, which reflects on the lower costs to the customer.

How often are the tariffs updated?
Tariffs are updated as soon as we are notified by the supplier. Some suppliers give us prices which can remain unchanged for as much as 3 months, while other suppliers give us daily price changes. As soon as we receive these prices, they are updated on the site so that you can be confident that the prices shown are the ones that you will be charged by your supplier.

How long does it take to switch suppliers?
Switching suppliers takes on average 6 to 8 weeks. However, various things can change this, for example if you are still in contract with another supplier, or if the new supplier does not have all information that they require to complete the switch.

If I do change supplier, will any of my supply equipment need changed?
No. Your gas, electricity, and telecoms will still be supplied to you through your existing equipment. The only difference will be who supplies you and the reduction in costs to you.
